Cathy and I spend an afternoon with our grandson at the the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.  He is playing hockey four or five times a week and is absolutely passionate.  I played for forty plus years.  So we are in our element checking out hockey history, both old and recent, and taking a few shots at a virtual goalie.

The cover photo is of Johnny Bower’s face mask for the 1969-70 season.  Not much protection compared to today’s equipment.  Here are some photos of the Stanley Cup and various sweaters of famous players.
