How good is the cruise pier free waterpark in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic?
Cathy and I would rate it 5 star, and if we had kids with us, it would be more. For us, it was a few hours lounging in some large pools, and trying out the lazy river. And the best thing is that it is free. Free makes it a great alternative to the ship excursions.
How do we get to the waterpark?
We are on a Celebrity cruise ship, and so for us, it is right at the base of the pier still inside the gated area. We walk over in our bathing suits. There are lots of lounge chairs, and plenty of bars and restaurants.
