On day 1 of 4 in Yellowstone National Park, Cathy and I started in Idaho Falls, Idaho and drove to West Yellowstone. Here we visited the Grizzly Bear and Grey Wolf rescue center. Then into the park through the West Entrance and onto Old Faithful.
Yellowstone is a super volcano that last erupted 600,000 years ago. Most of the park is inside a giant and active caldera.  Today we saw a spectacular display of geysers and hot pools as we hiked through several geyser basins.
