What is it like to take a ski bus to Quebec’s Charlevoix Region?

What is it like to take a ski bus to Quebec’s Charlevoix Region?

Pretty great actually.  Our destination resorts are Mont Ste Anne, Le Massif and Grand Fonds.  The ski bus, itinerary and accommodations are all organized by Ottawa’s National Capital Ski Club.  My twin brother and his friends are my travel companions.  And we luck out with warmer than normal though still freezing weather with some new powder. I have added some pictures at the end of this post.

Will I do it again?

An emphatic yes.  Excellent ski resorts, natural snow and some new powder, friendly Quebecers, good group of fellow trippers, excellent hillside condos at Le Massif and breath-taking views over the Gulf of St Lawrence.  And the big plus of not having to drive myself.

Do I have some suggestions?

Yes. Le Massif where we stayed has a Club Med and by all reports of fellow skiers, it is great.  And the neighbouring towns have restaurants and such.   However as bus trippers we had limited personal mobility.  So buy/bring lots of food and be prepared to make most of your meals.

What are these three resorts  like for a senior intermediate skier?

Here is what Gemini has to say and I agree.
