Our Coast to Coast USA roadtrip is in the books.
Where we went
Cathy and I saw the vastness of middle America. We swam in the Pacific Ocean and in the Atlantic, and walked the beaches for hours. Often with family and friends, we hiked in Zion, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and Snow Canyon and Dead Horse Point State Parks, all in Utah. We spent a lot of quality time with Cathy’s family in Utah, California and South Carolina. Our daughter joined us at Mission Beach in San Diego. We golfed in Hilton Head and rode our beach bikes miles on the hard sand beach.
Along the way, we traveled about 7000 miles, and slept in 15 different beds. Cathy and I ate in many different restaurants, some 5 star and others not so much. We fell in love with some new destinations – Moab, Utah and Mission Beach, San Diego stand out.
