Santa comes to town and is welcomed by 750,000 people who line the streets of Toronto to watch our 120th Santa Claus Parade . This year I am joined by our grandson. Always neat to see through the eyes of an 11 year old. Also a good reason to indulge in some street food. Thanks to all of the sponsors and volunteers – you put on a great show again this year.
Last time I wrote about the parade was 5 years ago at 115th Santa parade . This year was as good as ever. If you are planning to visit Toronto next year, make the Santa Claus Parade part of your stay. I recommend coupling it with the Distillery Christmas Market for some of your holiday shopping. In addition, drop into the St Lawrence Market to warm up and get some food from the market vendors. All are easy to walk between, and make for a great day.
