Thursday is a good day to boat cruise to Lakefield and take in the weekly farmers’ market.  Today was sunny, warm and calm, making it an easy run through Upper Stoney, Lower Stony and Clear Lake.

Cathy and our grand-son did a superior job crewing us through Lock 27 at Young’s Point.  For lunch, we tried out the food stalls at the Lakefield Farmers’ Market,  followed later with our mandatory Kawartha Dairy ice cream cones at Lockside at Young’s Point.  It’s good to see that the Lock 27 Grill has re-opened with docking and gas.  We will try it on our next cruise.
