Sunday morning, we dusted off our 60+ year old cedar strip canoe, and took our grandson on his first Upper Stoney Paddle.  The challenge is to find the 6 floating caches hidden in various back-waters around the many islands in Upper Stoney Lake – each cache contains 1 of the letters making up S-T-O-N-E-Y.

Thank-you to the many other canoes and kayaks on the water who pointed out locations.  We got all 6 letters, and so our proud grandson got his first event badge, and we all  enjoyed lunch at the Pavilion at Crowes Landing.   Well done and thank-you to the organizers and volunteers!
