To ski Whistler has been a long time dream. We are now in our third day and this place is way beyond my expectations.
Driving from Revelstoke to Whistler
Its about a 7 hour winter drive from Revelstoke to Whistler. We saw first hand the variety of the British Columbia interior – from the warm arid interior around Kamloops to the snowy and winding Duffey Highway.
Whistler Blackcomb Ski resort
We skied hard chasing my nephew and his wife, and my son down the slopes. Our two big ski days were 25000 and 20000 vertical feet. We can brag that we skied every lift on Whistler and every lift on Blackcomb. One day we got up very early and went to the First Tracks breakfast to see the sun rise and get first runs on the slopes. This is a must-do. The scenery is amazing and these photos barely do it justice.

Our 11 day ski trip takes my brother and me on a 1000 km drive from Calgary across the Rockies to Vancouver. Along the way, we stay and ski in Banff / Lake Louise, Alberta, in Revelstoke, British Columbia, and in Whistler, British Columbia. This is bucket list stuff for skiers.
