Cathy and I travel to Milford Sound in Fiordland in the south of New Zealand. Make no mistake, this is a beautiful place. 2000 meter high sheer rock dropping a furthur 330 meters into the ocean. Winds off the Tasman Sea delivering all types of weather – sun, rain, winds and mist. We see all of these as we boat along the Sound. It is a 4 hour bus ride from Queenstown to Milford Sound. We skirt several large lakes, and go through 2 mountain passes. The road is not for the timid. Our driver was amazing.
