Qantas rebooked us on a 15 hour flight in economy on their A330 to Brisbane and then a few more hours to Melbourne.
So let me share our take on Qantas long haul economy in their A330 200 series aircraft. In short, it is a horrible product. There is no leg room and very narrow seats. Both of us suffered leg cramps. Cathy and I tried 2 dinner selections – brazed beef and pasta – and both were uninspired. Breakfast was ok. Service was adequate however not friendly and attentive like Qantas domestic. I recommend you avoid flying this route and this plane until Qantas fixes this product.
