That is my twin brother, my son-in-law and me at the Finish Line for the 2024 Ride to Conquer Cancer in support of the Princess Margaret Hospital. The Ride is from Toronto to Niagara Falls, with lots of side trips into the country roads of the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. Your donations to the three of us exceeded $8000.
Our team Amby’s Aces exceeded $115,000, so thankyou to you, our supporters. And in total a new Ride record of $20.6 million raised by 4200 riders.
We rode 100km on Saturday, and 120km on Sunday. Clearly the Sunday ride was not hard enough, so Mother Nature threw in cold rain, hail, thunder and wind for the last 25km. So it turned out to be quite the adventure. Gotta love Canadian spring.
