Cathy and I are spending a few early March days at our cottage on Stoney Lake in Ontario, Canada. So today it is sunny and amazingly warm at 15 C. We go to Sir Sam’s Ski Resort for some spring skiing. It’s about an hour and a half drive to the north. It’s a small hill and very much a family resort. Today is a bluebird day with no lift lines so great fun. This is our first ski of the season, and we plan to get back to the hill on Wednesday. On the drive home, we stop in the town of Haliburton for some human fuel. Up River Trading has excellent Americano coffee, scones and oatmeal cookies. Stay tuned, our next stories will be from Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Panama and Aruba.
