We visit a Pumpkin Patch and a Corn Maze

Scroll down to content

It is Thanksgiving in Canada and Halloween is coming soon, Cathy & I, with our grandson, visit the Dyment’s Family Farm. It is a one hour drive west of Toronto and on the Niagara Escarpment overlooking Hamilton.  We take in the great fall colours on our wagon ride, and enjoy the corn maze, the pumpkin patch, a haunted house, a mini putt course, and more.  Lunch is at the food truck and we vouch for the brisket on a bun, the poutine and the hot chocolat.  All and all, this is a fun daytrip.

The Corn Maze

We are astonished by the 3 meter (10 feet) tall corn.  And you never know who is lurking in the maze.

The Pumpkin Patch

We have never seen so many pumpkins in one place, and we get to pick our own beauties.

And some important dietary advice!
