Cathy and I take a day trip to  Cobourg on the shores of Lake Ontario and 95 kilometres east of Toronto.  Settled by British Empire Loyalists and driven by the prosperous timber trade in the 1800’s, it is a very pretty heritage downtown.

Lunch on the patio at Cucina Urbana  is a highlight.  We enjoy the lobster ravioli and the seafood linguini, and I like that you can order wine by the glass across their entire wine list.

After lunch, we stroll through the waterfront marina and over to the beach at Victoria Park.
