Just a quick shout out to Rhino’s Roadhouse on the west end of Rice Lake. Head east a couple of kilometers on Rice Lake Road off of Highway 28 between Peterborough and the 401 Highway. Rhino’s is just over 1 hour from Toronto, and on this day was filled with locals and folks doing a day trip.
We had ribs and burgers. Ribs were the best in a long time. And the view over the adjoining park and Rice Lake is beautiful.
