On this cold and sunny Sunday, we joined thousands of kids of all ages to watch The 115th Toronto Santa Claus Parade . Cathy and I have a special connection to the Parade. Forty years ago we bought our very first house from a gentleman who worked for the Parade. We spent a lot of our renovation energy chipping off the thick red, white and green float paint from our vintage baseboards and doors.
Of course Santa was the parade highlight. However we also got a kick out of the The Lady Godiva Memorial Bnad, an always enthusiastic group of near-musicians from the Engineering Skule, University of Toronto. Full disclosure, I am an alumni.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
It was a beautiful day for the parade! I normally try and catch it on TV every year, but I missed it this year 🙁 Thanks for capturing the moment!
