Cathy, our grandson and I spent a recent afternoon hiking the Stony Lake Trails around Viamede Resort and the Kawartha Land Trust. We picked a trail that took us through thick forest, around Viamede’s frisbee golf course, through a mossy rock cleft and under a giant oak tree. All a great little adventure for our grandson, who also enjoyed feeding the pigs and turkeys at the small resort farm.
